Confirmation

Confirmation is the means by which those baptised as infants on the basis of their parents' faith express their own undertaking of faith in Christ. Preparing to be confirmed is a great opportunity to learn and grow in understanding and living out the Christian journey. Confirmation preparation groups run from time to time, as needed. Those wanting to explore confirmation are invited to speak to the Vicar or Associate Minister.

Confirmation is also a prerequisite for full membership of the Anglican Church in terms of access to hold office or to be licensed for ministry.

NB: Adult baptism from other denominations is recognised and Reception into Communicant membership is the means by which those from other denominations may formalise their membership of the Anglican Church.
